work rant

My boss was supposed to cover a shift because we were going to be short a person. She didn’t come in, bothered to call to see if we needed her BEFORE dinner rush, then didn’t call again. After rush, which we were dying over to cook everything/cover register, she called in to order for food herself, came in and after we said what a night we had she had the guts to say “well I told you you could call me if you needed me”. We are not dumb, you didn’t say that to anyone, boss. Thanks for be a liar as well as being manipulative. We all appreciate it, really.

She’s getting my two weeks soon, she pulls this shit all the time and thinks we will put up with it. Not anymore. I seriously almost walked out tonight because I was so frustrated. I’m not so mad about it as I was earlier but it has made the situation very clear that it is one I do not want to be in.
