Okay, basically I’m gunning for this job I would really like in Bangor. It has a great atmosphere, Goose works there and I know the other people working there are decently nice, and it could be a year round job. Plus it being in Bangor in the perfect location between school and my parents’ because if I didn’t feel like going home directly after or I wanted to stay in town for the night I wouldn’t have to drive as far unlike if I took the job that’s within walking distance from my parents’. If I took that job I’d have to drive from school, go to work and go home in order to “not waste gas” and I know my parents would be keeping tabs on me if I were close by, and that’s just not going to work. So, I’m just going to tell my mom I talked to the owner of the store nearby and they said they weren’t hiring.
tl;dr I’m being picky about jobs because I don’t want to have a job that I’ll think about quitting all the time. I’ve had enough of those, and I never hesitate to quit after summer is over. Going for long term this time.
